Whitelist IP to bypass Reputation

If you wish to whitelist an IP in order to bypass Proofpoint's reputation service, you will need to submit a request through our support site. Proofpoint support resources will then review requests and, if approved, whitelist the requested IP address(es). Please ensure your request includes the following:

  • A list of each IP that needs to be whitelisted
  • A reason/justification for each IP to be whitelisted

N.B. CIDRs are not allowed. Any request that includes a CIDR range will be rejected.

Once an IP address bypass exception has been completed, you will still need to whitelist the IP address for content. Please refer to the KB:"Whitelist IP to bypass Spam Filtering"  to perform this action if you have not already done so.
