Password reset thumb drive not working due to hibernate fast startup

Password reset thumb drive may not work due to hibernate or fast startup on windows.  These can be disabled in the power options in the control panel but requires local admin rights to do so.  If you down not have local admin rights shutdown the computer using the following command;

shutdown /s /t 0

This will shutdown the system completely and not put it into hibernation as it normally work do.  The Reset thumb drive should then work (remember you may have disable secure boot in bios settings).
